Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a therapeutic sequence for the infected pulp of a tooth which is intended to result in the elimination of infection and the protection of the decontaminated teeth from future microbial invasions. This procedure is done by removing the vascular nervous tissue (the nerve) from root canals, which will then be cleaned, widened, disinfected and finally obturated. Canal obturation represents the final stage of the endodontic treatment, which means sealing the roots with special materials that prevent future infections.

Endodontics is a fancy way of saying treatment of the root canal.

At our center, these operations are performed with state-of-the art equipment.

A modern root canal treatment is nothing like those old sayings! It’s very similar to a routine filling and can usually be completed in one or two sessions, depending on the condition of your teeth and your personal circumstances. Getting a root canal is relatively painless and extremely effective. You’ll be back smiling, biting and chewing with ease in no time.

Dental Experts Center’s mission is to make patients feel comfortable throughout the treatment, to avoid subsequent symptoms and to receive the best dental care, which extends your teeth’s life span as much as possible.

We strongly encourage you to contact Dental Experts Center immediately if you are experiencing any signs of pain or infected tooth nerve. There are few symptoms indicating you might need a root canal:

  • Severe pain when biting or chewing

  • Swelling or tenderness
  • Constant, unprovoked tooth pain
  • Pimples or an abscess on the suspected tooth
